ESM Seminars

About the founder

We would like to introduce you to and honor Dr. Victor L. Frank, the founder of Energetic Systems Maintenance and the one who made it available to the general public. He was the key developer and trainer of ESM techniques.

Dr. Frank helped to turn ESM into a worldwide organization that has instructors throughout the United States, Canada, Australia and Europe. We are growing constantly because of Dr. Frank and people like you who want to take charge of their health.

Dr. Victor L. Frank is the founder of ESM. He personally trained health practitioners throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Israel, Mexico and Europe.

He was chosen Chiropractor of the Year by the Parker Chiropractic Foundation in 1986 and received many prestigious awards during his 40 years of practice.

In September, 1987, he received the Humanitarian Award from the “Chapel of Four Chaplains” in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

He was honest, outspoken, and a strong believer that [the] “Power that made this body, can heal this body”.

After graduating from Hollywood Chiropractic College in 1957, Dr. Frank spent 10 years as a chiropractic nutritional specialist in Glendale and Pasadena, California. During this time, he completed post-graduate studies including (but certainly not limited to) therapeutic nutrition, obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, adaptive orthopedics, diversified technique, x-ray interpretation, Riddler therapy, Van Rump technique, activator methods, acupuncture and SOT.

From the 60’s through 2010, Dr. Frank collaborated with other influential individuals, such as John F. Thie and George Goodhart. He worked in Thie’s office and assisted in the development of his book Touch For Health, the well-known laymen’s guide to muscle testing and acupressure techniques. Dr. Frank arranged for Thie’s book to be translated into Japanese, which has been used for several professional conventions, and he was also an original member of the Diplomats of Applied Kinesiology with George Goodhart.

Dr. Frank developed and taught the Total Body Modification (TBM) technique and philosophy worldwide. These seminars present old- time chiropractic adjustments that are not being taught anymore, as well as non-chiropractic corrections that can be performed by alternative care practitioners.

Dr. Frank was also a Team Teacher at the Parker Chiropractic Research Foundation Seminars for many years, a past Legislative Chairman for Senior Citizens of the Los Angeles County Chiropractic Society and awarded a Charter Diplomate in the International College of Applied Kinesiology, which has published many of his research papers. He was active in the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), serving on the National AAU Sports Medicine Committee and the Olympic Committee for Karate and he served as a Southern Pacific Sports Medicine Committee Chairman.

Dr. Frank was a press chairman of the CATHY program (Community Assistance to Homeless Youngsters), established to find homes for foster children. Dr. and Diane Frank housed 31 foster children and hosted several foreign exchange students. These are just some of the countless community services Dr. Frank performed and awards that he received.
